Standing’s Day Gecko

Standing’s day geckos can be seen in ‘Weird & Wonderful’; these Madagascan lizards are a vulnerable species, declining due to the loss of their forest habitat. Most geckos are nocturnal but these are active during the day hunting for insects, they also eat fruit and nectar.

They lay two eggs in a clutch and we currently have eggs from this pair in one of our incubators.
