Amazon milk frog

Amazon milk frogs can be seen in ‘Weird & Wonderful’. These tree dwelling South American amphibians spend the day sleeping, coming out at night to hunt for insects. Like dart frogs they can produce a toxic secretion from their skin when they feel threatened. Their eggs hatch a day after spawning and the tadpoles complete metamorphosis after just 3 weeks.
