Winter Woolies

Now the days are getting shorter and much colder many of our mammals are getting their thick winter coats, of these probably the most obvious are the sheep. The Southdowns were shorn in June but much of their fleece has already regrown.

Southdown sheep were traditionally used to graze the South Downs in the South of England and are friendly and easy to handle breed.
