Crested Bronzewing Pigeon

Crested pigeons inhabit grasslands and open woodlands across much of Australia, where they feed on seeds, fruit and insects

As with most pigeons they build a rather flimsy nest in which they lay two eggs.

Our pair share their aviary with other Australian species including budgies, cockatiels and barrabands.
