Adaptations and Habitats Videos

Our first Tilgate Bites topic looks at the features animals have that help to survive in their environments. The two key terms in this topic are ‘adaptation’ and ‘habitat’, with the first two videos focusing on what an adaptation is and some key examples. The second two videos move on to how such adaptations allow animals to survive in their habitats, touching on the effects of habitat change in the final video. Each video is accompanied by a science activity and a second activity (typically practicing learning from a different area of the curriculum). These can be found on our Home Education Resources page.
