Entry and booking terms & conditions

  • Entry to the Nature Centre is only permitted with a valid pre-booked ticket.
  • All members of a group must have a valid ticket including children under two and carers.
  • All members of a group should arrive at the entrance together.
  • Printed or electronic confirmations must be shown to the staff at the entrance.
  • No additional tickets can be purchased at the entrance.
  • Entry cannot be guaranteed if you are more than 10 minutes late for your allocated entry slot.
  • Carer tickets are only valid on production of an official letter of confirmation such as DLA/PIP or diagnosis, or a Compass Card, Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, Carers Support Card or similar recognised scheme.
  • Once you have exited the Nature Centre there is no re-entry.
  • Ticket dates are non-transferable and no refunds will be given.
  • All tickets purchased are non-refundable unless the centre is closed due to extreme weather or further lockdown restrictions, in which case we will contact you using the email on the booking.
  • When within the centre, your group must remain together, keeping a respectable social distance from other groups.
  • The one-way system around the centre must be followed at all times. • Please take notice of and follow all signage, as well as instructions from our staff.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Please do not touch (or allow anyone in your group to touch) the fences, buildings or windows within the centre.
  • The Discovery Room, Madagascar and Americas houses are currently closed. Please ensure all members of your group are aware of the closures before visiting so they can plan accordingly.
  • No eating is permitted within the zoo.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Nature Centre.
  • Not adhering to the rules as stated will result in your whole group being asked to leave the site with no return.
